Marvell House and Octagon Nursery

We provide sessional day care and crèche provision for children under school age. This is designed to meet individual children and families needs whether to support parental learning/training or for the child’s early learning and development. The nursery manager Hazel leads a team of highly qualified nursery staff along with the added support of the Children’s Centre Teacher ensuring a quality learning environment for all ages and stages of development. Our most recent Ofsted inspection graded the setting as GOOD http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/oxcare_providers/full/(urn)/EY311319 and we have achieved Steps to Quality 1 and are currently working towards level 2. We participate in both local and national strategies in our commitment to offer opportunities for continued development and well-being of the children and their families. 

We have regular visitors from other settings to observe our good practice and high quality learning environment.
